Silver Fern Maia Wilson believes the different rules on either side of the Tasman over import players will play into New Zealand's hands at international level

Australia's Super Netball has unlimited import spots, which has resulted in many of the shooting spots in particular going to foreign players.

Wilson prefers the more restrictive rules in the ANZ Premiership.

Wilson's a lock for a spot in the Commonwealth Games team for Birmingham next month - she'll again lead her Northern Stars today in a crucial clash for playoff places, against the Southern Steel from 2.10pm in Invercargill.
