Staff at an Auckland retail store are facing a huge clean-up after a vehicle was used to smash through their shop

Police were called to a ram raid at the Spark Mobile store in the Walters Road shopping complex, at Takanini, just before 12.30 this morning.

They say the alleged offenders appear to have fled the scene in a second vehicle.

Inquiries are ongoing to locate the offenders and to identify what was taken.
