    A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a Central Auckland assault


    Emergency services were called to Wellesley Street around 11.30 last night.

    Two other people suffered minor to moderate injuries and were also taken to hospital.

    Police say enquiries are ongoing to locate the assailant.
