Several homicide investigations are underway tonight - in Palmerston North and Auckland

Palmerston North Police were called to a Highbury property just after 2.30pm.

A firearm had been discharged at a Croydon Ave address.

The alleged offender had left the scene, where their victim died.

Another person died after arriving at Auckland Hospital yesterday with a gunshot wound.

Auckland Police were called to Taurima Reserve in Point England during the afternoon, where a firearm had been seen.

It's believed those involved are known to each other.
And Police are still seeking the public's help to find 24 year-old Dariush Talagi, wanted in relation to fatal shots fired on Auckland's Queen Street late on Thursday night.
