    Christchurch police are appealing for public help as they investigated a homicide in Aranui


    38 year old David Bridgwater, was found dead on Carisbrook Street on Thursday morning.

    Police are seeking sightings of a green holden commodore with the registration BGE263.

    It's thought the car left the scene after Bridgwater's death.

    Detective Inspector Nicola Reeves says people shouldn't be afraid to share any evidence.

    She says if people are reluctant they can share information via the anonymous crime stoppers hotline.
