    Taupo students have been allowed to go home - after a number of schools locked down during a nearby Police incident


    Arthur Crescent is still cordoned off, and armed police are at both ends.

    The Waikato Herald's Daniel Hutchinson says parents waited for almost three hours.

    He says that's one of the longer lockdowns the area's had.
