An Auckland police officer will go to trial - after pleading not guilty to dangerous driving causing death

He'd been charged earlier this year, after an investigation into the death of motorcyclist Levi Proctor on State Highway 18 last July.
Police say Proctor lost control after the officer activated his lights and sirens.
The officer's been granted name suppression in the North Shore District Court today, until at least August - when he appears next.
