A thought - but not yet a reality

That's the summation from Auckland FC coach Steve Corica when it comes to enticing players north from the high-flying Phoenix to turn out for the A-League's newest club.

Star striker Oskar Zawada is leaving the Nix and yet to confirm a destination - while other standouts such as Kosta Barbarouses and Ben Old have re-signed to stay in the capital.

Corica says Phoenix players have been on their radar.



Earlier today - the Kiwi quartet of Michael Woud , Francis de Vries , Cameron Howieson and Jesse Randall were announced as the first four signings for Auckland FC.
