By shifting income tax brackets, it will give earners on more than 14-thousand-dollars an extra four to 40-bucks a fortnight.
Opposition MPs drew the debate out all day, but New Zealand First's Tanya Unkovich kept it short -- saying the bill would make a difference for many hardworking Kiwis.
Labour's Ayesha Verrall says the cuts aren't worth the cost.
She says many things that are good about life in New Zealand are being sacrificed, to save Nicola Willis' political credibility.
