The Government's Budget centrepiece has passed in the House -- and tax cuts will become law

By shifting income tax brackets, it will give earners on more than 14-thousand-dollars an extra four to 40-bucks a fortnight.

Opposition MPs drew the debate out all day, but New Zealand First's Tanya Unkovich kept it short -- saying the bill would make a difference for many hardworking Kiwis.

Labour's Ayesha Verrall says the cuts aren't worth the cost.
