Kiwi tennis ace Erin Routliffe has noted a big gap between the friendly fields at the Paris Olympics tournament... and her day job on the WTA Tour

The world number one doubles player teams up with compatriot Lulu Sun overnight in the first round at Roland Garros... taking on Italy's third-seeded duo of Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini.

Routliffe likes the Olympic spirit on show at the Games.

The action on the clay courts begins at 10pm... Routliffe and Sun are in the fourth match on court 11 in the wee small hours.
