An unexpected partnership between New Zealand's largest iwi and medical cannabis producer

An unexpected partnership between New Zealand's largest iwi and medical cannabis producer

Puro has confirmed a significant financial investment from Ngai Tahu's Te Runanga o Kaikoura.

The Marlborough-based company and local iwi say they'll develop a shared vision for responsible resource management -- that honours tikanga Maori, creates jobs, and enhances community wellbeing.

Puro Chief Executive, Sank Macfarlane says it's an exciting development.

He says it sees significant potential in the producer's capabilities -- and its pathway to export markets.
