    Costly insurance claims from young renters are being dominated by stolen electronics


    New data from State Insurance shows devices make up 63 percent of contents claims by under 25 year olds, with theft the most expensive cause.

    Some individual claims have exceeded 20-thousand dollars.

    State Executive General Manager of Claims Wayne Tippet says some young tenants are claiming for stolen laptop bags containing all their tech, wallets and phones.
