    Multiple people are injured after two crashes in Waikato


    Emergency services were called to a car and truck crash near Tokoroa, around 9.30pm.

    A St John spokesperson says one person's seriously injured and three have minor injuries.

    It follows a crash by Rotorua's Whakarewarewa on State Highway Five shortly before eight.

    A St John spokesperson says two people are in a critical condition - and one with serious injuries.
