    Matatu midfielder Grace Brooker still has designs on this year's Rugby World Cup with the Black Ferns ahead of a code switch to Aussie Rules after the Super Rugby Aupiki season


    The four-test Black Fern has signed for Essendon in the AFLW.

    Brooker has battled injuries in recent years - and has played just once for the Black Ferns since 2021 but says she is chasing a World Cup spot.

    She will link up with the Bombers in May with the season beginning in August.
