A Titanic passenger's gold pocket watch has fetched more than $NZ4-million at auction

The 18 carat time-piece, and its owner Isidor Straus, were recovered in the Atlantic, days after the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank in 1912.

The watch remained in Mr Straus' family for several generations, until being sold in England today.
