    An unattended kayak and clothing is stumping police - who are still seeking the public's help


    Yesterday around midday a blue kayak was found achored about 500 meters off Raumati Beach in Kapiti.

    The kayak was located with fishing equipment including nets and ropes.

    A black hoodie with a rose design was also found on Raumati Beach itself.

    Police fear the kayaker may be missing and are seeking any information from people who may recognise the clothing or kayak - which is also pictured on the Wellington District Police Facebook page.
