    Super Rugby referees are not resting on their laurels, despite the number of penalties dropping each round of the competition


    Stricter interpretations saw high penalty counts across the opening two rounds but only 33 were blown across round three games.

    Referees manager Bryce Lawrence says they didn't expect the reduction to happen so quickly, but he's not getting over excited.
