Players have been getting their thinking caps on over the selection criteria for the upcoming North Island against South game, which will act as an All Blacks trial

New Zealand Rugby has judged players will be eligible for an island based on the first province they played first class rugby for.

For Chiefs halfback Brad Weber that means he'll suit up for the South Island if selected, despite feeling more aligned with the North.

He says there's many ways to select the teams including running a draft, but he likes Aaron Cruden's suggestion.
