The Ministry of Health wants to see more people taking Covid-19 tests

The Ministry of Health wants to see more people taking Covid-19 tests

It comes as three new cases are confirmed in the country today - all in managed isolation.

The Ministry says just over 2,400 tests were completed yesterday - 378 of those were in isolation or quarantine facilities, and the rest in the community.

Surveillance testing has taken place across the weekend in Auckland, Queenstown and Christchurch, which are locations connected to the case in South Korea.

Although yesterday's testing numbers were up on the last two Saturdays, the Ministry wants to see testing numbers increase, especially in Auckland and Queenstown.
