Ayda Field is refusing to let coronavirus ruin her Christmas

The 41-year-old actress has endured a "s***" 2020 due to the pandemic and her mother's cancer diagnosis, but she's not going to allow the ongoing crisis to spoil Christmas Day

Ayda - who has Teddy, eight, Charlie, six, Coco, two, and Beau, 10 months, with Robbie Williams - explained: "I will not let Covid take away our Christmas.

"I mean, that is one thing I am very clear on, is, as s*** as I feel today - I have my good moments and my bad moments - I plan on, in the face of Covid, allowing the spirit of Christmas to enter my heard and spread in our family. I am very clear on that."

Ayda admits the last 12 months have been a "f****** nightmare" for her, but she's willing to do anything to save her Christmas.

She said on 'At Home with the Williamses': "It’s like Covid has taken away so much from so many people, from everyone that I know, and just speaking for myself, I f****** refuse to let Covid take away my precious Christmas. Because Christmas is something I look forward to every year. It is literally in my being.

"Like, if I could live in North Pole and be friends with the elves, I would. I’d live part-time in the North Pole."

Ayda's mother, film producer Gwen Field, was diagnosed with cervical cancer in January.

And the actress is devastated that she won't be able to see her this Christmas.

The Los Angeles-born star said: "I spoke to my mom, because of this pandemic, I haven’t been able to actually touch her or hold her since February, and I’m now many miles apart from her and I can’t get to her. And yesterday was the first realisation that I’m not going to see my mom for Christmas.

"I’m going to be miles and miles apart from her for the first time, I think, in my whole life."

'At Home with the Williamses' is available across all major podcast platforms. Episode two will air on December 17.
