    Police say they are aware of ongoing concern in the Auckland suburb of Mt Roskill in relation to firearms incidents


    A 36-year-old man's been arrested after police were called to reports of a shot being fired at a McCullough Avenue address around 4 this morning.

    Detective Senior Sergeant Glenn Baldwin says armed police swiftly responded and mo one was injured.

    Baldwin says a firearm and ammunition were recovered at the property.

    He says there will be an ongoing police presence in the area while police continue to investigate a firearms incident from January 19.
