Renewed calls for the Government to prioritise maternal mental health support

Renewed calls for the Government to prioritise maternal mental health support

Save the Children, Barnardos, Te Kahui Mana Ririki, and Whanau Awhina Plunket urgently want mothers' health and wellbeing addressed in this year's Budget.

Advocacy and Research Director for Save the Children, Jacqui Southey says there's been little investment over the years.

She says they're hearing stories from mothers who have desperately tried to get proper support, but there aren't enough resources.
