One of this country's highest revenue-earning supermarkets has been sold to a former shelf stacker

One of this country's highest revenue-earning supermarkets has been sold to a former shelf stacker

Jason Witehira has confirmed Pak'nSave Albany on Auckland's North Shore is now under his control.

That particular supermarket turns over tens of millions of dollars each year.

Witehira previously owned the upmarket New World Victoria Park in central Auckland.

Foodstuffs North Island bars co-operative members from owning more than one supermarket, so he was forced to sell when he bought the much bigger Albany store.
