Investigation into a car crash that killed five Timaru teenagers is expected to take months

Investigation into a car crash that killed five Timaru teenagers is expected to take months

Five boys died when a Nissan Bluebird slammed into a power pole on August 6 - only the driver, Tyreese Fleming, survived.

After the crash, Police said speed and alcohol were factors.

Aoraki Area Commander Inspector Dave Gaskin says investigations will continue - until a decision is reached on charges Fleming will face - if any.
