    A rahui's in place for Caples River near Lake Wakatipu - after a Queenstown man died rafting


    30 year-old Stephen Bowler was with a group using inflatable pack rafts on Monday.

    Police are making enquiries - and extending their sympathies to his family.

    As a mark of respect, Ngai Tahu's announced a rahui until next Tuesday - including where the river mouth meets Lake Wakatipu.
