An open invitation for essential workers to head to Eden Park

An open invitation for essential workers to head to Eden Park

New Zealand's national stadium will host its first games of domestic cricket in eight years today, with Auckland hosting Central Districts in the T20 Super Smash.

All essential workers will get in for free.

Auckland skipper Katie Perkins says they bore the brunt of last year's lockdown.

The women's match gets underway at ten past ten, with the men's sides at 1.40pm.
