    An unvaccinated senior general manager at Christchurch City Council has left his position


    Chief Executive Dawn Baxendale says resources general manager, Miles McConway, no longer works at Council.

    She says Chief Financial Officer Leah Scales, will be the acting general manager until they recruit for the permanent role.

    Stuff reported in December, that McConway isn't vaccinated against Covid-19.

    Vaccination became mandatory for all Christchurch City Council staff, on January 10.
