Auckland Transport says it's seen a significant increase in passenger numbers across the network since half price fares kicked in at the start of the month

Passengers took more than a million trips across its bus, train and ferry services last week - the first time they've broken the one million mark for weekly trips this year.
The busiest day last week was Thursday, where more than 175 thousand passengers travelled.
That number was up nearly 20 percent on the Thursday two weeks earlier..
