There's one factor that could have made this year's record hospitality sales even higher

There's one factor that could have made this year's record hospitality sales even higher

A Restaurant Association report has found hospitality made more than 13-billion-dollars in sales to the year ending in September - up 7.7 percent on 2021.

Chief Executive Marisa Bidois says employee numbers this year reversed the decline of 2021, but at a third of a percent, it's the lowest level of worker growth in a decade.

She says if there was the support in staffing levels, there would have been a much higher percentage increase on sales.
