Another poll points to Te Pati Maori holding the keys to Parliament at this year's election

Another poll points to Te Pati Maori holding the keys to Parliament at this year's election

The Taxpayers' Union Curia Poll puts the party in a king-maker position, if it holds onto the Waiariki electorate.

A Labour-Green pairing would have 57 seats...and with National-Act holding 59, each would need the Maori Party to form a government.

A 1News Kantar Public Poll last month indicated a similar outcome.

Taxpayers' Union's Callum Purves says there's definitely a trend forming.

He says the poll shows the margins between the big parties - and whether either can form a government - are very fine.
