    Waka Kotahi has confirmed State Highway 5 between Napier and Taupo and State Highway 2 south of Gisborne are now open

    Waka Kotahi has confirmed State Highway 5 between Napier and Taupo and State Highway 2 south of Gisborne are now open


    State Highway 2 north of Gisborne remains shut.

    State Highway 35 from Gisborne to Ruatoria is also closed, but is expected to be open mid-morning.
