A Code of Conduct complaint has been laid against Christchurch City Councillor Aaron Keown

A Code of Conduct complaint has been laid against Christchurch City Councillor Aaron Keown

Fellow councillor Sara Templeton made the complaint to the Mayor regarding social media posts in April.

The posts by Keown criticised the hearings panel process for altering streets around Te Kaha - claiming the panel was stacked to get a specific outcome.

An independent investigator has found it was critical of a staff member and questions her integrity and impartiality.

They also concluded the post would place the Council and Councillors in a bad light with the public.

The complaint will be discussed at a council meeting on Wednesday.
