The National Party's Transport spokesperson says Auckland's light rail project has made an appalling decision in agreeing to buy a 33 million dollar building

The National Party's Transport spokesperson says Auckland's light rail project has made an appalling decision in agreeing to buy a 33 million dollar building

It's agreed to purchase the Kiwi Bacon Building in Kingsland with just weeks to go to the election.

National has promised to can the entire light rail project if it wins next month.

Spokesperson Simeon Brown says the whole thing is a joke.

He says it doesn't stack up and this building purchase will make no difference in the party's decision.
