Hours after a violent altercation at a bus stop in Auckland's Albany - police are still hunting an offender

A fight broke out just before 1pm - leaving blood stains on the ground and bus shelters - and one person with critical injuries and another with minor injuries.

Police have blocked off large sections. and a small block of nearby shops is also cordoned off.

The Herald's Isaac Davison says despite warnings people keep to get buses and are being turned away.
