    Two people have been arrested after an assault on an elderly man in Eastern Waikato two weeks ago


    Police are calling the attack in Te Aroha vicious and unprovoked.

    The 65 year old man needed hospital treatment after being attacked when his vehicle had a near-miss with two dirt bikers.

    A 34 year old man's been arrested, and a younger man referred to Youth Services.
