    Adaptability will be New Zealand driver Andre Heimgartner's most important tool in today's Bathurst 1000


    All is in readiness for the 2023 edition of the "great Race" at a sun-soaked Mt Panorama.

    Starting 13th on the grid - Heimgartner outlines his mindset as he waits for the green flag to drop.



    Defending champ and fellow Kiwi Shane van Gisbergen starts 6th - with rookie Matt Payne 8th.

    The race starts in around 10 minutes time.
