    Football Ferns striker Milly Clegg won't be kitting up against her old club team in the A-league this weekend


    The former Wellington Phoenix star - who transferred to the Western Sydney Wanderers this season - is unable to feature in the first two rounds of the competition... despite being fully fit.

    As an international signing, the A-League rules say a player must be 18 before taking the park - which Clegg isn't until November 1st.

    Assistant Wellington coach Callum Holmes admits the youngster's a loss for the Wanderers.



    It's a Wanderers-Phoenix doubleheader on Sunday, with the two men's teams also playing, first up.
