Travis Kelce put in a mammoth KFC order for Thanksgiving, the chicken joint has confirmed

The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs player spent the festive holiday without his girlfriend Taylor Swift, as he lives in Missouri and the pop megastar, 33, was in South America for her 'Eras Tour'

However, he revealed he would be swapping the traditional turkey roast for the fast-food chain's finger lickin' good fried chicken.

And he stuck to his word and ordered a whopping 56 pieces of KFC fried chicken and 80 hot and spicy wings, plus a stack of sides.

Nick Chavez, KFC's U.S. CMO, spilled to Us Weekly: "Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese and more - we have options for anyone in their KFC era this holiday season and beyond.

"Chiefly, we recommend our finger lickin' good 2 for $5 KFC Wraps for any solo celebrations ... on or off the field."

Sharing his holiday plans on his and his brother Jason's 'New Heights' podcast, Travis said: "I'll be feasting on KFC because I won't have anybody here."

Jason, who lives in Pennsylvania with wife Kylie Kelcie, 31, and daughters Wyatt, four, Elliotte, two, and eight-month-old Bennett, invited his brother to their Thanksgiving celebration.

The Philadelphia Eagles player said: "If you want to make a quick trip you're welcome at the house. We'll have plenty of food."

Jason added Travis is usually a "super picky" eater and would end the holiday "in tears" as a kid while their dad Ed Kelce "screamed" at him to finish his food.

Meanwhile, Travis' mom Donna, 71, told Us Weekly about how she's "not a good cooker" and planned to bake cinnamon rolls instead.

She said: "They're always my favourite, my go-to. I only can do it a couple (of) times a year because they're so sugary. So we've got rolls, we have muffins, cookies, things like that."

Donna added that her loved ones would "go get a ham" as they are "not particularly fond of turkey".

Taylor and Travis' relationship was confirmed by the 'Anti-Hero' hitmaker when she was spotted cheering him on at The Arrowhead Stadium on 23 September next to his mother.
