A long awaited - but as advertised - first week at the Crusaders for new arrival Levi Aumua

The 29 year old's Super Rugby switch from Moana Pasifika was announced back in May.

Aumua says he's heard a lot about the champion franchise from NPC team-mates at Tasman.

Aumua's set to compete for a starting midfield spot with one test All Black Dallas McLeod.

Braydon Ennor's sidelined for the season with a knee injury, while Jack Goodhue's now plying his trade in France.
