    Police have arrested six young people, after they fled police in Waikato overnight


    The incident happed after Police attempted to stop a car on Powells Road in Hamilton at about 3am.

    It failed to stop, and Police pursued them.

    A short time later, the vehicle crashed into a parked car and caught fire, before six occupants fled on foot.

    They were found a short time later - with four treated for injuries.

    One person received treatment for a dog bite to their leg.
