    Three people have been hospitalised following a crash in the Bay of Plenty


    An eyewitness told our newsroom it appears a caravan and car collided on state Highway two.

    Three patients were transported to Tauranga Hospital - one in a moderate condition.

    The New Zealand Transport Agency, Waka Kotahi, says one lane of the highway has since reopened.
