Chrissy Teigen's eldest son has "never" eaten a vegetable

The 'Cravings' author is known for her love of food and while she praised her and husband John Legend's seven-year-old daughter Luna for being adventurous with food, the 'Lip Sync Battle' star admitted five-year-old Miles is a different matter.

Asked if her children are good eaters, Chrissy - who also has Esti, 12 months, and six-month-old Wren with her spouse - told talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: "Luna is the best eater. Luna's amazing. She eats salads, vegetables.

"Miles has still not had a vegetable. Never. He accidentally ate a broccoli floret in fried rice and was so upset about it."

Her 'Chrissy + Dave Dine Out' co-star David Chang admitted his boys don't like vegetables either, with presenter Jimmy admitting their candidness made him feel "so much better" because of the struggle he and wife Jane McNearney have had trying to get their nine-year-old daughter Jane to eat well.

He said: "It makes me feel so much better because my daughter is nine and she will not eat, even barely a fruit. We can barely get her to eat anything, but hearing that you guys can't do that, too, I don't know why it makes me feel better."

Chrissy explained she had joined a Zoom meeting with her kids' school where they talked about fussy eaters.

She said: "They say it's the only thing they really have control over at that age."

Jimmy - who also has Billy, six, with Jane, and two adult kids from his first marriage - laughed: "It's so funny. They say that, the kids don't have control. Yet they seem to have of every aspect, every minute of our lives."

Meanwhile, the 'Chrissy's Court' star admitted she frequently gets her husband to rustle her up a sandwich at night.

She admitted: "I eat a lot at night in bed...

"We go up at like 8pm and then I wake 10.30pm ravenous and John will make me a sandwich or lately quesadillas. I'm a nighttime eater."

Dave added: "Let me give you the picture. She's sleeping. The bed stand is here. She wakes up and she grabs the sandwich and she puts it in her mouth, in bed."

Chrissy agreed: "Totally asleep. It used to be like nighttime eggs, I would do hardboiled eggs with a little sriracha, just something to pop in my mouth while I'm sleeping..."

The 38-year-old model joked she is so "physically tired" from her large brood she doesn't even care if her nighttime habits attract ants.

She said: "I'm just so physically tired from having so many children, there are ants crawling towards me and my food and I don't even care any more."
