Taylor Swift made history at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (04.02.24)

The 'Anti-Hero' hitmaker became the first artist to win Album of the Year four times when her record 'Midnights' received the honour, having previously previously being the first and only female solo artist to win it three times, tying her with Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder

And earlier in the evening, the 34-year-old songstress provided one of the event's biggest talking points when she announced the release of a new album in April.

Accepting the Best Pop Vocal Album accolade, she said: said: "OK, this is my 13th Grammy, it's my lucky number, I don't know if I've ever told you that.

"I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way but I know that the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans so I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping for the last two years. Which is that my brand new album comes out April 19. It's called 'Tortured Poets Department'."

Miley Cyrus also had a successful night at the ceremony - which was hosted by Trevor Noah - picking up her first ever Grammy Awards, for Best Solo Pop Vocal Performance and Record of the Year for 'Flowers', which she performed on TV for the first time.

Victoria Monet was named Best New Artist, while Billie Eilish couldn't hide her surprise at winning Song of the Year for 'What Was I Made For?'.

She said: "Woah. What. Yikes Oh my goodness. Damn, that's stupid guys. Literally like I was looking at everybody's faces and I leaned over and was like 'Not a chance'.

"I just want to say, everybody in this category, that was a crazy list of incredible people, incredible artists, incredible music. I feel crazy right now.

Damn dude, wow I am shocked.

The night featured a host of memorable musical moments, including Joni Mitchell's first ever performance at the ceremony, singing 'Both Sides Now' with Brandi Carlile, Billy Joel's return to the Grammy stage for the first time in 22 years, and a surprise appearance for Tracy Chapman, who teamed up with Luke Combs on 'Fast Car'.
