A former Warrior has masterminded a record-setting century in English rugby league

Samoan play-maker Mason Lino has notched 38 points as Wakefield scored 19 tries to thrash Newcastle 110-nil in the knock-out tournament for the country's second-tier clubs.

A star at junior level for the Warriors - who made 17 NRL appearances before shifting to the Knights in 2019 - Lino scored three tries and kicked 13 goals for a Wakefield record individual points haul.

Wakefield were relegated from the top-tier Super League last season - they now face a quarter-final against the Barrow Raiders.
