Matthew Perry left more than $1 million in assets in a trust before he passed away

The actor died in October, aged 54, due to the "acute effects of ketamine", and a legal document has now revealed that he left his assets in a trust called The Alvy Singer Living Trust, named after Woody Allen's character in the 1977 film 'Annie Hall'

Perry's total net worth was much higher than $1 million. However, that figure relates to the value of the personal property on hand when he passed away.

A legal document - which has been seen by 'Entertainment Tonight' - lists the beneficiaries as John Perry and Suzanne Morrison, who are his parents, his half-sister Caitlin Morrison, and Rachel Dunn, who isn't a blood relation.

Lisa Ferguson and Robin Ruzan have been listed as the ex ecutors of Perry's estate.

The late actor was best known for playing Chandler Bing in 'Friends' and his former co-stars - Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer - issued a joint statement shortly he passed away, admitting that they were "devastated" by the news.

They said at the time: "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew.

"We were more than just castmates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able.

"For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."

Perry was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles in November.
