Miley Cyrus' "admiration" of Beyonce has grown since they worked together

The 31-year-old singer collaborated with the award-winning star on 'II Most Wanted' - a track that features on Beyonce's new album - and Miley has now taken to Instagram to express her admiration for the 42-year-old music icon

Alongside a photo of Beyonce, Miley wrote on the platform: "II Most Wanted is out now on the new @Beyonce album #CowboyCarter

"I've loved Beyoncé since long before I had the opportunity to meet and work with her.

"My admiration runs so much deeper now that I've created along side of her. Thank you Beyonce. You're everything and more. Love you. To everyone who spent time making this song so special thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sincerely , Miley (sic)"

'Cowboy Carter' is largely seen as a country album, and Lainey Wilson recently hailed Beyonce for helping the genre to become "cool" once again.

The 31-year-old singer believes country music is on the rise and she's thrilled that Beyonce has decided to follow the trend by releasing her own country record.

Lainey - who actually moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in order to pursue her own ambitions as a country singer - told 'Extra': "It's really exciting to see how the country genre is growing so much.

"It's not just that, it's honestly the Western way of life. I feel like everybody wants to feel at home, everybody wants to feel grounded.

"When you get on the back of a horse or when you're out with your feet in the dirt or when you're listening to a country song, the truth is you feel at home."
