    New Zealand's top chief executives are being paid more than ever

    The Business Herald's Executive Pay Survey shows CEOs from 52 stock exchange-listed companies got an average pay packet of just under $2.3-million.

    A record 25 CEOs received at least $2-million last year.

    The top spot was retained by Ebos chief executive John Cullity -- who earned $8.42-million.

    Others in the top ten include A2 Milk Company's David Bortolussi at $8.4-million, Fonterra's Miles Hurrell at $4.6-million and Fletcher Building's Ross Taylor with $3.7-million.
