Camila Cabello loves "consuming art" but also likes to take time out to be "stupid, be an idiot"

The 'I Luv It' singer loves to watch movies, read novels and listen to classic novels to "better" herself, but she equally loves letting her hair down and being in nature and having fun with her pals

Speaking to Bru for Audacy Check In, she said: "I'm always in [it], not in a pretentious way, but I just love consuming art. It makes you a better person, even if you're not an artist. I love seeing the latest sick films or classic films, reading amazing novels, or listening to classic albums. - But there [are] definitely times where I wanna go be in nature or watch an old Disney Channel original movie with my friends, drink wine and have pizza...and not do anything for artistic, creative or personal growth. I just wanna be stupid, be an idiot."

The 27-year-old pop star - who shot to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, before quitting in 2016, due to creative differences, and embarking on her solo career - admits she gets a "little messy" on social media at times, and is often deleting posts.

She explained: "I'd like to be [cryptic]. But a lot of times, I'll post and delete. I get a little messy sometimes on my social media, but the vision for me is pretty easy because it's the world of the album. Anything besides that, I put it on my close friends."

Camila is gearing up to release her new album, 'C, XOXO', this summer, and the 'Havana' hitmaker believes her new album and its distinctive sound reflects her own curiosity.

She recently told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: "It really has just all started from curiosity and what would be unexplored territory, and what would be exciting for me."
