    A person's been seriously injured - after a two vehicle crash on Canterbury's Temuka-Orari Highway


    It was reported around 11:20 am between Te Awa and Rise Roads.

    The highway's been closed with diversions down Springfield and Rise Roads.

    And Saddle Road in the Manawatu-Whanganui region's also closed, after a truck crash just before 11:30 am.

    Detours are in place and motorists are advised to expect delays.
