Sabrina Carpenter used her time onstage at the Governor's Ball to call out those who "hate Pride"

The 'Espresso' hitmaker's 'Nonsense' outro at the festival at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, New York City, saw the 25-year-old pop star slam anyone who has had a bad thing to say about the LGBTQ+ community

She sang amid Pride Month: "Do I text him back, it's such a tough call / That won't fit inside me, bro I'm dumb small / People who hate Pride, can suck my Gov Ball."

Sabrina - who debuted her new single, 'Please Please Please' at the event - follows Adele in calling out Pride haters.

The 'Hello' hitmaker gave a homophobic heckler a grilling at her concert.

Adele taught an audience member a lesson after they shouted, "Pride sucks".

The 36-year-old singer - who a huge LGBTQ+ following - was performing one of her 'Weekends with Adele' Las Vegas residency shows at Colosseum at Caesars Palace when she shut them down.

She fumed: "Are you f****** stupid? Don't be so f****** ridiculous. If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, all right?"

Meanwhile, Adele and Sabrina have become acquainted just recently.

The former said Sabrina's mega-hit 'Espresso' is her "jam" as she relates to the line, "I'm working late, cause I'm a singer."

The 'Chasing Pavements' hitmaker shared at one of her residency shows: "As I got into bed last night - cause that's a very late night for me, normally I'm in bed by 9pm- I found myself singing, 'I'm working late, 'cause I'm a singer.'

"That Sabrina Carpenter song! 'I can't relate to desperation.' That song is my jam!"

The 'Easy On Me' hitmaker was gutted that she couldn't sing along to 'Espresso' when she was on her vocal rest as she couldn't talk.

She added: "It came out and I couldn't talk!

"It came out when I couldn't talk or sing, so since my voice has come back, all last night and this morning that's what I've been singing."

She then quipped: "From tomorrow, it will be like, 'I'm sleeping late 'cause I'm a singer,' because that's what I'm gonna do tomorrow."

Sabrina hilariously responded: "All i read was Adele thinks about me in bed. (sic)"
